Cultural Policy and the Creative Economy

BBER has investigated arts, culture and creative economy in all corners of the State of New Mexico. This work has measured economic impacts, compiled inventories of cultural assets, assessed opportunities and challenges for New Mexico’s cultural and creative entrepreneurs, and formulated policy recommendations to advance the state’s creative industries. The work has included detailed studies of the cultural economies of Santa Fe, Albuquerque & Bernalillo County, Arts & Cultural Districts in smaller communities across the state, and most recently a statewide study commissioned by the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs.

BBER’s research publications on the cultural policy and the creative economy can be found here.
