BEA BEARFACTS: 1997-2007

BEARFACTS are narratives that summarize income data published by the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA). Each year the BEA publishes new personal income data for states, counties and metro areas. In their BEARFACT narratives, they compare and summarize the latest ten years of data. We link to these narrative summaries posted on the BEA web site.

Follow this link to the BEA web site for BEARFACTS and select either state-, county- or metro-level data. Work through the geography heirarchy to get the area you want. You'll find an arrow pointing to the right and left at the top of each profile page. By clicking these arrows you can change the 10-year comparison period up or down a year at a time.

If you have any questions about these summaries please contact BBER staff at dbinfo@unm.edu.
