The Economic Impact of Nonprofit Organizations in New Mexico

This is the first time that a Report has assembled research on the nonprofit sector and its economic contributions to New Mexico. In the recent past, we saw a similar study pertaining solely to the arts and cultural industries in Santa Fe County. The findings of that study, prepared by the Bureau of Business of Economic Research at UNM, persuaded us that a similar study on the economic impact of the statewide nonprofit sector would be illuminating.
