1/  Labor force participation rates are calculated by dividing the number of persons (both sexes, males or
    females) in the labor force by the number of persons (both sexes, males or females) 16 years and over
    and then multiplying by 100.

2/  Civilian unemployment rates are calculated by dividing the number of unemployed civilians (both sexes,
    males or females) by the number of persons (both sexes, males or females) in the civilian labor force
    and then multiplying by 100.
