New Mexico Property Tax Study: Agriculture, Working & Natural Lands

This study considers several years of property tax, agricultural census, and NRCS data to assess fiscal, economic, and land conservation trends in New Mexico. Additionally, we seek to explore the intersections between land protection and preservation and property tax and related policies. The study also reviews best practices at the state and national levels for consideration by New Mexico policy makers and stakeholders across groups.
