Shaleena B. Flores

Shaleena B. Flores is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of New Mexico (UNM). She is currently pursuing a dual degree with majors in International Studies and Economics with minors in Statistics and Spanish. She joined BBER in October 2022 as a Student Research Assistant. Her research interests include topics on economics and public policy with a regional focus in Latin America. Shaleena is also a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow through UNM.

In her free time, Shaleena enjoys working as the Vice President of UNM’s Model UN team, going to the gym, and reading.
