Impacts of the NM Small Business Investment Corporation on the NM Economy

This study estimates the economic and fiscal impacts of the NMSBIC supported lending activities on the New Mexico economy. NMSBIC supported lending activities contributed an estimated $55.3 million in economic impacts, $3.3 million in fiscal impacts, 411 jobs, and 560 renovated/newly constructed housing units (2023-2024). The per job cost of lending is an estimated $9,860 (2023-2024).
